Representing Hornet at Cypher 3331, Srijan 2025

Cypher 3331 at Srijan 2025 was one of those moments that felt personal to me as a founder.
In 2025, I had the opportunity to represent Hornet at Cypher 3331, a cryptography and puzzle-solving competition held during Srijan at Jadavpur University. Hornet was associated with the event as a sponsor, supporting a student-led platform where young engineers explored decoding, logic, cyber security thinking, and competitive problem-solving.
For me, this was more than a sponsorship banner.
Being present at Jadavpur University, standing beside the Hornet identity, interacting with students, and watching participants approach cryptography and cyber-warfare inspired challenges with curiosity reminded me why Hornet was started in the first place.
Cyber security has never been only about tools, audits, or services. It is also about awareness, discipline, and helping young minds learn how to think under uncertainty. Cypher 3331 captured that spirit beautifully through puzzles, decoding rounds, and hands-on problem-solving.
Hornet’s association with the event was a small but meaningful step in connecting with the student technology community and supporting spaces where security thinking is encouraged early.
Grateful to IEEE Jadavpur University Student Branch, the Srijan 2025 team, and all the participants who made the event memorable.
