Souvik Haldar Invited to Train IPS Officers at SVPNPA on Cryptocurrency and Dark Web Forensics

Souvik Haldar, founder of Hornet, has been invited to the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy (SVPNPA), Hyderabad, to conduct training for Indian Police Service officers from across the country on cryptocurrency investigations and dark web forensics.

SVPNPA is India’s premier police training institution and the national institution responsible for training IPS officers and developing senior police leadership.

The training will address key aspects of technology-enabled investigations, including blockchain transaction tracing, cryptocurrency-linked financial crime, wallet and entity attribution, dark web ecosystems, preservation of digital evidence, and the conversion of technical intelligence into actionable investigative findings.

The invitation represents an important milestone in Souvik’s journey of building indigenous capabilities in blockchain intelligence and cybercrime investigation through Hornet. It also reflects the growing importance of equipping law-enforcement leaders with practical knowledge to respond effectively to crimes involving cryptocurrencies, anonymous digital infrastructure, and rapidly evolving technologies.
