TiECon Silicon Valley Interview
I was interviewed at TiECon Silicon Valley at the Santa Clara Convention Centre in San Jose.
The conversation covered Hornet’s origin, STPI CHUNAUTI 5.0, the Global Connect program, and the challenge of building a cryptocurrency threat-intelligence and cybercrime investigation product from Kolkata.
The interview also touched on the growth of cryptocurrency in India, the compliance burden around digital assets, the misuse of crypto in fraud and laundering, and why law-enforcement agencies need better tooling for tracing and investigation.
Representing Bengal on a global stage was personally meaningful. The broader message was simple: entrepreneurship from Kolkata and eastern India needs more examples, more confidence, and more willingness to take technical risks.
