I had the opportunity to co-author a cyber-security book published by River Publishers in association with Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur.

The work was possible because of the guidance of Prof. Sandeep Shukla, Anand Handa, and Rohit Negi, whose research and teaching at IIT Kanpur and C3i shaped the direction of the book.

The book is intended for enterprises and security teams that want to use open-source cyber-security tools to strengthen their perimeter. My contribution focused on offensive security: understanding the techniques defenders need to study so they can build stronger cyber-defense practices.

A major part of that contribution was connected to Huntsman, the offensive security toolkit I built to demonstrate how malware-style tooling works in practice. The purpose was educational: to make malware behavior more understandable so defenders can recognize, analyze, and counter it more effectively.

The original LinkedIn post also linked to the Huntsman code and the book listing.
